ok. more about me. i like music, all kinds, except for rock that involves excessive screaming and headbanging. my current fave is techno, and a particular song called Dance Fish has me moving along with it. anyway, i'm also into puzzles, except that i absolutely fail at sudoku. how strange. moving on, thereis this game that i'm playing now, it's really old, released about 1992, and it's about dropping marbles into start funnels to make them go into the correct coloured bins. sounds easy until you see levels like this:

or this:
and this:
(the third one looks deceptively simple, doesn't it?)

i must admit, i would have never solved them without the answer key. some of them, like the first one, involve timing as well. goodness. love the Da Vinci-esque style of drawings.

anyway, today was my brother's chess tournament, and he got paired up with a china scholar like twice his age. he lost in about ten minutes. diaozz. he did win other people though, congrats to him. hope he wins yet another trophy back.
