ok. school's been in session for about 2 weeks, and almost immediately once i went back, the teachers are out to get me again.
seriously.
come into class, teach for 1 hour, and cis boom bah, leave our class at the end with fond reminders that a project/compo/work/assignment/whatever is due in *insert ridiculously short time here* then, if that wasn't enough, the next teacher comes in with exactly the same thing on her mind.

here's an analogy. if teachers were hurricanes, then in one day we (3T) got hit by Hurricane Quah, Hurricane Chionh, Hurricane Tay, and Hurricane Wang. these hurricanes brought along strong gusts of homework, and there is a large chance of project surges as well. and even though their landfall was predicted weeks in advance, we were not allowed to evacuate the class just before their arrival.

and on the subject of hurricanes... it reminds me of the GEOG PROJECT on that STUPID HURRICANE which just had to HIT burma JUST before the holidays. and our oh so creative geog teachers took this as the perfect chance to invent a "project" for us based on it. so i guess it's true. a disaster can have large impact over a large radius. -_-

and i just remembered, it's due next wednesday.

DIE......

on a happier note, some things i have been worrying about for the last few weeks and month are finally cleared:
1. social advocacy project class presentation finished!
2. maths test over! (slightly screwed up though)
3. general work from the past few weeks
4. chinese book test finished! (it was really random)
5. Physics PT done!

hope to add more to list soon...

Oh, and the western stall at the canteen just suddenly closed down. which is abit the strange since it was the stall with one of the best business; with the fries and the $2.50 set meals and such. if this trend of suddenly closing down continues, the school canteen will be useless in about 1 year or so. which is not good news for the students; who will find themselves with a less connvinient place to eat (RJC canteen) and the school admin, who will suddenly find themselves with a new empty block (how convinient).

so now, our school canteen has only 5 stalls. which applied to the Demand-Supply hypothesis, means that the queues now are longer. and this is especially true on friday, where the WHOLE SCHOOL plus/minus teachers go for recess at the SAME TIME. which invariably leads to longer waiting time, which leads to getting to class late, which leads to getting a blasting from the teacher for being late (worse if that teacher is Mrs. Priscilla Lim)

which leads to the conclusion that it is best for the school population in general to open up AT LEAST 1 more store. (or extend recess =P)

what wishful thinking i have. eh?

Till next post...
